At one point and time large expanses of tall grass prairies blanketed the Midwestern  landscape.  Today they are only found in small pockets many of which are restored prairies.  As the sun broke through the dissipating fog on this typical hot and humid summer morning I was able to capture this image.  By using the sloping hill to conceal the distant buildings I was able to portray the prairies  and landscapes of the past.
