I could see it coming. Wonderful, wispy, white bands of cirrus clouds began drifting overhead as the day's end neared. A wonderful sunset was developing. But I wasn't the only one watching. In addition to numerous human onlookers, this flock of gulls lined the waters' edge. As water gently washed past them, they seemed content to hang out on the beach and wait.
