White Tail Fawn

One of the most wonderful experiences a wildlife photographer can have is sharing a moment in time with the wildlife we pursue and try to capture on film. These brief encounters will forever remain imbedded in our memories. Our goal is to capture just a small portion of the spirit and life of these animals with the images we create. I encountered these young fawns while exploring woods in Northern Minnesota. At first it appeared to be unstable and wobbly. Knowing its mother could be watching nearby, I slowly backed away to a safer distance. A short time later, I realized how wrong I was as it suddenly ran off and disappeared into the woods.
