“Never Too Many Stones”

People love stones and pictures of them! Or rocks, agates, pebbles, etcetera, etcetera… I hear it all the time. And even though I have many images of them, I continue to photograph them frequently. When I do, I try and find an new and different approach that prior images. As was the case with this image. I loved how the sand turned to stones just beyond the waterline. That’s what first caught my eye. But something inside me also said this was a panoramic shot. As I reviewed my images later I was proven correct. The images that included more off the underwater rocks was too distracting. The panoramas included just enough of that element in the image without being too dominant. So in the case of this image perhaps you can have too many stones?
